
Jorge Dorado is a Columbian guitarist, pianist and drummer with over 20 years of experience as a performer, composer and educator. He has appeared at major music festivals across Latin America and has worked extensively as a session musician, contributing to a wide range of recordings across genres.
Throughout his career, Jorge has collaborated with diverse ensembles and led bands at various levels, developing a versatile musical voice that bridges traditional and contemporary styles. His work as a composer was recognized with Colombia's national composition and sound creation award "Sonidos de Los Andes" (2014)
Alongside his performance career, Jorge has built a strong reputation as a music educator, teaching students of all ages and levels. With formal studies in Musical Pedagogy and Music from the Conservatory of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, he brings a practical, engaging approach to teaching theory, harmony and composition, helping students connect music understanding with real artistic expression.
