Introductory and Beginner Woodwinds
These classes are NOT eligible for Provincials.
Competitor’s own choice of one selection for these beginner aged classes. Multiple entries per class permitted.
Selections may be chosen from RCM/CC Preparatory syllabi or other beginner methods. Standard of excellence will be used for marking.
Memorization is encouraged.
Performance times MUST be included on the entry form.

Graded - Woodwinds - List A
Own choice of one selection of music per entry must be from the Current RCM and CC syllabi. Multiple entries per class permitted.
Memorization is encouraged. To receive an award or mark, and to be eligible for provincials, memorization is mandatory. Please refer to Rules 19 – 22 for specifics.
Unless music is specifically for solo instrument, all soloists must have a suitable accompaniment.
Live piano accompaniment only, unless otherwise specified. If the competitor wishes to use a music track in place of live accompaniment, they may do at the local level.
Performance times MUST be included on the entry form.
